How can I get a ride on theLifesaver.org bus?

life with God is good

Our colorful people-mover is used to deliver kids and teens to Life kids and Youth Worship on Wednesdays and also to our weekend worship gatherings.

Kids must be in Kindergarten or at least five years of age to ride on the bus.  Parents or guardians will have to arrange for transportation of younger children.

Kids or teens that would like a ride must have a parent/guardian complete a "Rider's Permission and Release Form" before riding.  This will ensure that the rules for riders are understood and that we have current contact information for each riding student.

If siblings or cousins are visiting and would like to come with a regular rider, a new form will not be required as long as the visiting children's contact information would be the same as for the regular rider.

If you decide to be placed on the regular bus route, you will receive a confirmation call just before the day's route begins.  If the caller cannot contact you, the bus will not stop at your address unless you call and let them know who will or will not be riding.  The numbers to call will be made available to the parents of those on the route list.

On days that the bus is full or unavailable, kids may be driven in a ministry passenger van or a private vehicle.  If this is the case, parents will be contacted with this information during the confirmation call before the children are to be picked up.  Any additional drivers will be approved ministry volunteers who have gone through our screening process and have submitted to a background check.

Our ministry vehicles are inspected, insured and driven by licensed and qualified drivers.  Drivers of the bus are at least 21 years of age and have a Commercial Driver's License with a Passenger and/or School Bus Endorsement.  Drivers of passenger vans are at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license.  Each vehicle has at least one other adult, if not more, in the vehicle to keep order and have some fun with the riders so the driver is not distracted.

If you are an adult and would like a ride, sorry, but you will not be riding on the bus (unless your children are with you).  If you need assistance, we will do our best to make sure you can make it to our worship location.

If you have any questions feel free to contact us.
